DrinkPAK, a leading contract manufacturer of premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, celebrated its expansion in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas by inviting local city officials and business partners to a wall-tilting ceremony. Guests saw mockups of the 1.4 million sq. ft. building, reviewed plans for the advanced manufacturing facility, and heard from DrinkPAK CEO, Nate Patena, and Councilmember Chris Nettles. In addition to the speaking engagements, attendees enjoyed pastries and canned beverages produced by DrinkPAK. Guests also participated in a unique tee-shot activity where they drove a golf ball across 800 yards of concrete.
The 1.4 million sq. ft. high-acid facility at Carter Park East, DP2, is expected to open in September 2025 and will manufacture energy drinks, teas, sodas, waters, hard seltzers, beer, wine, and spirits in most can sizes and packing formats. The filling and packaging equipment from Krones AG will produce up to 2,600 cans per minute and feature dual filler production lines. The facility will also include an aluminum bottle line, an automated variety packaging line for multi-flavor cartons and trays, and an automated warehouse with a fleet of laser-guided vehicles, and an automated retrieval system, enhancing operational efficiency.
"DP2 will be the largest canned beverage manufacturer in the world; significantly enhancing DrinkPAK's capacity and capabilities to support global and high-growth beverage brands,” said Nate Patena, CEO of DrinkPAK. “We are thrilled to build this state-of-the-art facility in the Fort Worth area and are grateful to city and county partners.”
